K4 Internatonal Pumper
Why the bloody hell are we doing it?
Because we can I guess. The Brigade took on the project of restoring an International K4 Pumper, taking the old girl back to better than original condition.
Stored for many years under a tree in Montrose, the truck is nearly back to new, with much blod, sweat, tears and swearing happening.
(Note - the picture at left is not our truck, but that's how it will look, except in colour!)

Isuzu Type 3 Heavy Pumper
Warnambool's MAE 557 Type 3 Heavy Pumper was with the Brigade for many years, being commissioned here straight off the production line.
Replacing a much loved Type 1 Godiva 'Pink Panther', the Type 3 Heavy gave great service until it was replaced by the Scania Heavy Pumper in 2011.

Hino 3.4L Tanker
A stalwart of many CFA stations for a long time was the 3.4L Hino 4x4 Tanker. Designated 'L' for either 'leaded' or 'long tray', this venerable unit was the second part of a two truck response for Warrnambool and many other Brigades for many years. It was also a primary truck for grass and scrub fires across the state.
With 3000 litres of water pumped out by the venerable if somewhat unreliable 'Volks-Godiva' pump, the vehicle had some hitting power for both rural and urban fires.

Into action...
Seen here in action at the Saddlerack fire in 2000, the 3.4L was built like a Tanker but had some urban equipment. Warrnambol's had 2 sets of breathing apparatus, along with a B Class Foam system. The foam system was set up for 'pump and roll', where the truck could move along spreading foam; this was primarily designed for attacking aircraft fires.
