Warrnambool Fire Brigade Auxillary
The Warrnambool Brigade has had an Auxilliary in operation continually since 1955. The Auxilliary first met to offer the brigade a way of raising money and the first sales were of home made cakes and aprons. It was a success and they embarked on more ambitious plans as the years went by. There were baby shows; street stalls carrying mostly home made goods; cake drives; competitions; brigade dances; food stalls at the various team competitions and demonstrations and catering at local functions.
The Brigade has benefited greatly from the contributions of the Auxilliary over the years.
The Auxillary meet the first Monday of the month and is always ready to welcome new members.
